So far, I'm loving ivsedits. But the audio won't export; just the video does. Why is this?!
I just want to amend my first post. I did check the option to export audio. I'm an experienced editor, and so far am not impressed with this program.
You get what you pay for, I know, and I am using the free version. But our Final Cut Pro is on the fritz being worked on, and I was really hoping for a suitable open source alternative.
My computer meets the specs required and everything else is fine, but the audio will not output. Only video will.
Hello Thomas,
can you hear audio feedback bringing any standard PCM 16bit 44-48Khz wav file on the Timeline?
what type of file are you attempting to export (AVI DV or uncompressed) ?
Hi,
when you will reply to Roberto, don't forget to report which ivsEdits build are you using, on which Windows version, and some details about the hardware.
Best Regards,
Paolo
Thanks for the response, gentlemen. I didn't mean to be panicky or rude. We had an emergency project to get out and had all kinds of tech issues.
I do appreciate your reply and will provide more information soon.
I'm running ivsEdits LE Version 2.6.450 on Windows 7.
It's importing my WMV video but it's not playing back the audio.
first of all I suggest you to update to v.3.0.470, you're using a very old build!
WMV editing is possible, but it is not suggested, because of the number of the possible file options. The best format is the AVI with Microsoft DV codec, AVI uncompressed, etc. Moreover, be careful to the FPS. All of your files into the timeline must meet the frames per second of the timeline setting.
Hi Guys,
It's me again. How can I resolve my audio problem? The audio only gets exported if I export the file to *.wmv. However, I wanted to have my file in uncompressed AVI format. The audio can play perfectly from Preview Screen though. Do I miss some settings here? Thanks.
Warmest Regards,
Ratna
